Hurry Spring!!!
It has been awhile since I posted any updates because we are suffering from a severe case of cabin fever in the Frost house! This winter has seemed like it has lasted for years and nothing can top a wonderful 4 1/2 inches of snow in MARCH. We did have a fun 45 minutes playing outside in the snow and thanks to our wonderful new stroller (courtesy of operation craigslist which was a success!) Sophia was content sitting comfortably in the stroller watching Isabelle, Emma, and I build a snow man. No thanks to Macy, the dog, who promptly ran it over... We then headed to the garage/laundry room to strip out of our wet snow clothes and head in. Of course I had forgotten to unlock the door from the garage into the kitchen, so lucky me had to run back outside barefoot, in nothing but a t-shirt and go in the back door and around to let in my cold and by this time, screaming children! So now we are officially over the cold weather and ready for spring! Emma, aka Miss Bossy Pants of America, spends her days now trying to order Sophia around and trying to get Sophie to crawl after her by shaking a toy in front of her like she is a puppy. She also gives everyone she talks to updates of what Sophia is doing. Occasionally it is in a language we don't understand, but usually it is "Soapie go night night" or "Soapie no no". Sophia is crawling everywhere now and has started pulling up to stand in her bed. She tries to push up on the bottom of the stairs and looks like a baby elephant on her hands and feet. We also decided that her two front teeth look like Sponge Bob's teeth, so Isabelle has taken to calling her Sophie SquarePants. She still won't eat baby food, but the past few days I have gotten her to eat saltine crackers and banana puffs. I know these are just bursting with nutritional value, but at least it is something :) Isabelle has fallen in love with an early readers biography pack that I ordered for her from Scholastic Book Club. Her favorites are Helen Keller, Susan B. Anthony, and Harriet Tubman. We also checked out a biography on Amelia Earhart from the library that she loved.

Valentine's Day
Nathan had to work Valentine's weekend so the girls and I packed up and headed to Nanna and Papaw's house. We had a fun time; Nanna and Papaw took the girls to Build-A-Bear to make their Valentine's presents. We had a family skate day on Sunday. And all weekend, Emma loved riding the horse with her cowgirl chaps on :)

Cowgirls
I am in the process of liquidating my assests on Craigslist in an attempt to make enough money to buy a SLR digital camera and a new double stroller! Keep your fingers crossed for me because Momma needs some money!!! Here are some pictures of Emma and Isabelle in their cowgirl boots. (They would be much better with a new camera...)

In case you are interested....
Here are 25 random things that make me me....
1. I don't know how to do anything on facebook except sign on and be nosy by reading people's status updates, therefore I have 100 requests for crazy things that I just ignore, Sorry :(
2. I am really just a big dork and am constantly finding new ways to embarrass myself. For example: Me: "Wow it looks like you got some sun this weekend"Her: "No, I have roscacea"
3. I love peanut butter and marshmallow cream sandwiches!
4. I would love to have two more children; my husband would love to have no more, so I think one more is a good compromise.
5. My favorite time of day is just before dinner time when I turn the radio on in the kitchen and dance with my ladies.
6. My love for singing far exceeds my talent.
7. I am sad that Isabelle is now old enough to realize this.
8. My husband thinks I talk too much and too loudly which is a trait my daughters have inherited, but he loves me anyways :)
9. I LOVE to read and my favorite thing about Isabelle getting older is that I get to read her wonderful books like Ramona Quimbly age 8, Anne of Green Gables, and Freckle Juice.
10. For some reason being 27 and having three children does not make me feel old, but being older than most people on reality TV shows does.
11. I am terrible at sports and anything else requiring coordination, but I play a mean board game. (I warned you I was a dork:)
12. I rarely call my children by their names. Isabelle is Sissy, Emma is Minnie, and Sophia is So-so. Or I call them all Sister.
13. I think that having such short hair in high school scarred me for life because I panic every time I cut my hair.
14. My greatest goal in life is to raise my daughters to be strong, confident, and courageous women.
15. I love buying school supplies. This is the only thing I miss about being in school.
16. My dream is to run a pumpkin patch when Nathan and I get old and retire.
17. I am terrible at leaving messages, I ramble on and on like a crazy person. I will never master SBAR.
18. I was the ugliest duckling of all time, so it is funny when people tell me Isabelle looks just like me because she looks nothing like I did as a child. Once she saw one of my pictures and said "Oh, weren't you embarrassed?!?"
19. I have a pretty good sense of direction, but I am terrible at giving directions...again the rambling.
20. I wear comfy pants everyday and consider myself dressed up if I put on jeans.
21. I am terribly unorganized despite my best efforts.
22. I have wonderful girl friends that are always there for me. I hope my daughters find friends as true as mine are.
23. I bought Nathan a gold chain with an "N" on it for his 17th birthday present/ our one year anniversary present. I still make fun of him that he wore it.
24. I love my job, but I prefer taking care of little old men over old women. They are far less whiney.
25. I never imagined that I would be so happy

Bye Bye Bridgestone
We found out this week that the Bridgestone lay-offs are going to affect us. Nathan is being let go on May 1st. Although I am a little nervous about what God has in store for us, I am just so very thankful that this is coming now and not before when I was still in school and Nathan was our sole source of income. He will receive a small severance package and we will be able to keep our insurance for 6 months, so we are planning on him going to school full time this summer until he can apply for a local police department and I will just pick up extra shifts at the hospital. I am very blessed to have a job that I love in a career that is always in demand! Okay, enough about that, now I have some annoying mom bragginess to share. The first bit of wonderful news is that Sophia has slept through the night the last three nights! Hallelujah!!! We went for her 6 month check up and she weighed 15 lbs 5 oz. She is getting her 4th tooth and can sit up by herself. She still isn't crawing, but she is scooting all over the place. Emma can tell you her name when you ask her, but when you ask her how old she is, she says "two". I don't know where she learned that she is two, but she refuses to say that she is one. I am amazed at how much Isabelle is learning at school. She brings home readers every couple of nights that she has to read and return to school and the last one she read was at a third grade level!!! My cup runneth over... Sophia enjoying a biter biscuit, she still won't eat baby food though...
Nathan found Emma like this, she pushed her chair over to the barstool and climbed up to finish off Isabelle's spaghetti and milk. When he walked in the kitchen, she said " Hi Daddy" like she was supposed to be sitting up there!
